Our advanced course for secondary school (Levels 2 & 3) is aimed at students who want to prepare specifically for the grammar school entrance exam at the weekend. Saturday as a course day provides a quiet, undisturbed learning environment – ideal for concentrated work outside of regular school hours.

Course content, methodology and materials are identical to our Wednesday course (S1/MI) and are based on the exam requirements for maths and German.

German

• Tenses (present tense, past tense, perfect tense, past perfect tense, future tense I & II)
• Tenses: present, past, future
• Understanding and applying parts of speech and sentence structure
• Sentence elements: subject, object, predicate
• Modal verbs and correct sentence structure
• Vocabulary training, including idioms
• Essay forms: narrative, argumentation, mixture

Mathematics

• Algebra (binomial formulas, distributive law, commutative law, associative law)
• Algebra: formulas, laws, calculation techniques
• Systematically solving word problems
• Equations & transformations
• Geometry: Pythagoras, Thales' circle
• Probabilities & combinatorics
