Our autumn holiday course offers secondary school students in grades 2 and 3 intensive preparation for the entrance exam to the short-term gymnasium – with a focus on German. It could either be a second round of consolidation after Slot 1 or a stand-alone course, the specific course teaches exam-relevant content in a compact, clear and effective manner.

• Analysis of typical exam formats
• Overview of tasks and expectations
• Applying specific strategies

Enhancing text comprehension and language skills

• Working on word fields, synonyms and variations in meaning
• Reading techniques and interpretation strategies
• Focus on language skills and confidence in expression

Essay training with practical relevance

• Teaching the most important text types (e.g. description, reflection, analysis)
• Writing and modifying 5 essays
• Deep analysis for individual feedback
